Beeslack Parents' Association is open to all parents. Our role is to support the school and work together to facilitate communication and to act as a forum for parents' concerns and wishes for the future of the school. We work closely with the head teacher and enjoy an excellent two way communication process.

Our Aims
We aim to work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents and children.

We promote partnership between the school, its pupils, its parents and the community.

We identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.

Being part of Beeslack Association is not time consuming. We attend meetings and we share the role of attending Special school events. You can volunteer as much time as you feel you can however attending the meetings is a great way to understand the challenges faced with providing a high standard of education our children at Beeslack receive in these difficult economic times and best understand how we can offer support.

Committee:
The Association (Parent Forum) elects annually a committee of up to 14 members.

Our Parent Council for session 2015/16 is:

Members of the Association can be contacted through the school. The Annual General Meeting of the Beeslack Association (Parent Forum) shall be held in September or October of each year, prior to the Autumn Holiday week. Council members will be selected annually at this meeting. All members of the Parent Forum will be advised and invited. The meeting will include: • A report on the work of the Parent Council • Selection of the new Parent Council • Discussion of issues that members of the Beeslack Association (Parent Forum) may wish to raise • Approval of the accounts and appointment of the auditor.
